James was a little surprised as she apologized to him, and he half-begrudgingly knew that he should too. “Yeah, I’m sorry too.”
“Oh my God.” an amused voice broke in, it was Chris, and he was grinning like a Cheshire cat. “I think we did all die back there, James is apologizing for being a jerk?”
He put his hand to his face in mock-shock before giggling madly. “Wow” he shook his head. Lyric rolled her eyes.

"Chris shut up." Annas voice went back to being like ice. She shivered again. Anna rumaged threw her bag her teddy fell out. She quickly grabed him and hid him. Anna kept looking finaly she found what she was looking for. A shirt. She shoved it on. She was kinda warm now. Anna looked deeper into her bag. She found the picture of her and her brother. It was taken two weeks befor He ran away. Anna whiped a tear away quickly makeing sure no one saw it.

Chris was still smirking as she looked away. “Just adding a little comic relief here.” he shrugged, he saw the teddy bear fall from her bag, and how hurriedly she re-packed it but decided not to say anything about it.
He then saw her take out a frame, and looked down at the young man in the photograph. “Who’s that?” he inquired.

"My brother, I don't know if he is alive. He ran away and I haven't seen him sence then. His name is James." Annas finger traced her brothers face. "This was taken two weeks befor he ran away." Anna sighed. She looked up and whispered. "Please be alive. Please let me find you." Annd sighed again.

James heard the mention of the name and frowned slightly. It was a pretty odd coincidence. But a coincidence non the less.
“Well good luck finding him.” James heard Chris add. He looked at Chris for a moment. He was roughly 27, as he recalled. James had never liked him much, he blamed it on a personality clash. Then again, he barely got along with anybody...
The tank continued to run through the terrain. James wasn't entirely sure where they were going, but whereever they were, it had to be at least an hour or so drive through the sewers from their old hideout.

Jacob
Jacob had been sitting back watching as the others spoke amongst themselves and tended to their people, he knew he couldn’t do anything to help so he remained silent, once they got back then his medical people could treat the others, and by the look of the girls arm he had a feeling he knew that Samantha would say about it.
Finally there seemed to be a lull in the conversation and before the new guy that had come in and the girl who had sewn up Chris could kill each other he stood up
“We are nearly at our destination, we should be there in about 5minutes there you can search for those you wish to find, and your injured will be taken care of by our medics, once your people are taken care of we will have a meeting and I will answer all of your questions then”
He said before turning to the driver and looking out the front,
“Get our informant on the line if you can”
“Sure thing Jake”
She pressed a few buttons and waited a moment then there was a voice that seemed to fill the whole area
“Hello?”
“Flying bat?”
“Yer I’m alone, how are they did you find them is my sister ok?”
“Calm down, She’s here all right spitting image of ya lass though she dresses more like a rebel, she has been hurt but Sam will fix her up just keep your ear out for the government officers ok.”
There was a pause as the information was processed by the female voice and when she responded her voice was slightly crackly.
“Ok, please let me know how she’s doing soon, they have come back less then half of them are alive and they aren’t happy, no one managed to follow you”
“Good, stay safe over and out”
Jacob hung up the phone and flopped into the passenger chair as the tank pulled up to a stop outside some gates soon they were driving through them, opening the tops of the tanks they started to help people out as the gates closed tightly. They were in a huge underground cavern where there were probably about 200 shelters and people wandering between them coming toward the tanks to help with the injured as they were pulled out of the tanks and taken to the healing tents.

Once everything had quietened down, Lyric heard the voice of the rebel leader than had saved them. She had nearly forgotten that he was there with everything going on. Everything just seemed like a blur, as if it wasn’t really happening. A dream or something.
“Thanks, for the help.” she spoke after a short moment. “I don’t think I can safely say that any of us were very co-operative.” she felt her cheeks redden slightly in remembering how she had been convinced that they were more government officials.
Chris was still propped up beside one of the walls, looking pale, but otherwise alright. James stood close, still trying to figure out his ears. While the other half dozen of Lyrics people in the tank were looking pretty shaken up, a few bruises here and there but the worst had been done already.
Twenty. That’s how many people she had had in her gang. There were eight that she could see now, including James, Chris, Saskia and herself.
This was all that hung in Lyrics mind as they drove through some gates. Moments later the tank stopped and the top was opened, light steamed through the tiny hole and she had to shield her eyes... Pairs of hands reached into the tank and helped to pull everyone out of it. As she was helped out, the light, she realized was from about two dozen strobe lights around a huge cavernous room. She heard a groan behind her as Chris was pulled out of the tank, his stomach accidently bumping the side on his way out, caused the stitches to tear slightly, causing more bleeding. “Ahh f***!” he hissed, holding one of his hands to his stomach to stem the flow again. As he was helped down the steps, James followed and then Saskia was pulled out. She was still unconscious.
“Hey!” she turned to catch a glance at Chris raise his fist to a young man who had just stuck a syringe into his arm and inject some form of liquid into it. He looked at Lyric unbelievingly. “That stung!”
Lyric rolled her eyes but suddenly grimaced as she was injected too. “What’s that for?” she asked, rubbing the spot the syringe had just been. “Just a precaution.” the female smiled sweetly.
They all followed the others towards a large tent where they were all seated and one by one, observed by some of the medical staff there. Saskia was taken straight away towards a sealed off part of the tent, Lyrics concerned eyes following her.

When Anna stood up she grunted in pain. "Bloody hell stupid ribs." Anna clunched her sides. "If I find that a** who made my ribs like this I swear there dead." Annas voice was back to its normal icey tone. A medical staff member came up to Anna and asked her if she needed help. "I am fine worrie about the rest of them. It's nothing I can't handle." Annas crystal eyes looked around seeing how many of the people she was starting to care about hurt. Anna shook her head.

Lyric felt fine as she watched the others being attended too. Her eyes trailed to the place that Saskia had been taken, the cloth that covered the area was drawn, so that the inside of the ‘operating room’ was invisible. She wished that she knew that was going on in there, and of the medics could salvage her arm. James was seated on a small wooden seat as a male medic looked him over. Then her eyes trailed to Chris, in one of the far corners. His jeans were down, just below his bottom as another female medic stuck a large syringe into one of the cheeks. In a matter of 5 to 10 seconds, he was looking a lot more relaxed as they lay him on a table and re-sutured his wound. She smiled as she heard him mutter something to the female medic and receive a punch in the arm for whatever he said.
Her eyes then trailed across to Anna standing defiantly, not wishing to be treated and she walked over. “Thanks for everything.” she stood tall beside the young, and shorter woman. “I doubt that without you, and all of these guys we’d be here...”

"You guys have grown on me in a short time. Think nothing of it." Annas breath was uneven and she had to take sharp breaths in to keep talking. "And don't worrie about me worrie about James, Chris, and Saskia. They need more help. And your brother saved me. I don't know why but he did." Anna looked up at Lyric her eyes not being as cold. Her crystal blue eyes had a gleam of something diffent burning in them. "Because of him I am alive. So you owe nothing to me. I will help where needed but you have to understand that I am looking for my brother so I may disappear for a few days then come back." Anna looked down knowing a few days could mean the death of her new family or the death of her. "I wont leave if you need me tho." Anna looked back up at her.

Lyric nodded her understanding to Anna, she knew the importance of her decision. “I can understand your need to leave when you need to.” She did understand, completely, after all, she had a brother of her own. She just happened to the the younger sister who got stuck with being the older sister from time to time. When someone knew that they needed to get out and do something, they’d do it. There was no beating around the bush here.
She looked over at James. He had saved a life? Well that was one of the most unlikely things she had ever heard in her 18 years of being on this Earth. “Best not let Chris find out about this either if you want to maintain your sanity.” she smiled, eye balling him as he snoozed on one of the beds now that his wound had been sutured up once more. She guessed that the morphine the medics injected into him would make him a little drowsy anyway.
“Are you sure your okay? Even I can check your ribs if you want but I don’t think that they are broken. You’d be finding it a lot harder to walk I’m assuming.” she offered. The last thing that she wanted was more injuries to her people. But with the sudden crossing over from their own hideout to this Jacob guys, she wasnt even sure if her gang, would be her gang anymore...

"I'll be fine. Hard to beleave two people who about killed one another would save each other." Anna just shook her head. "Don't tell him this but the lad is growing on me." Anna just smirked.

“Oh I wouldn’t dream of telling him.” Lyric grinned with a nod. “We’re trained killers here. It’s our job to be wary of who we associate ourselves with, what we tell people...he’s just an angry person that’s all, and a little less approachable than most.” she shrugged it off. She knew her brother had an awesome temper and could really hurt someone if he wanted to, but he did have a more sensitive side at times...he just didn’t like anyone to see it.
He had gotten to his feet now and was making his way towards the door, a few of his pwn cuts and scrapes had been mended and he was at least not gripping his head anymore for the pain.

"I aint trained I was a born killer. Dad tought me from day one to kill. And I have a temper from hell. When I am mad I just let it take over. So if I get mad be sure to stay out of me way. I wouldn't want to hurt someone that wasn't ment to be hurt. I wouldn't want to see you like our little friend earlyer." Anna trailed off as she saw James leave towards the door. "Nothing can really calm me down. At least nothing that I know of."

“I told you from day one that you and James would get along like a bee to honey.” Lyric spoke, and briefly wondered to herself where James was wandering off to. She then remembered how mad the two had made each other. A match in heaven, she thought to herself with a fond smile. “Well I suppose it’s a good thing that your father taught you about fighting at a young age. It’s important to be strong for yourself and for your people.”
She didn’t feel strong, ever, but she knew that at the best of times, she was a great leader, but it was when things got hard that she began to panic, she would need to get that under control.
