Lyric looked around at her surroundings. These were the sewers that formed an intricate labyrinth. She could hear water dripping from the ceilings and falling into rippling water that flowed into many crevices of the sewer and the scurrying of a few rats scampering across the floor. These were the only sounds echoing down the vast tunnels as the two young women stood there. No light entered or escaped here, except for the small holes in the man hole covers.
“This is the labyrinth, or the conduit. What you call it is up to you. Follow me.” she spoke as she began to walk through the vast tunnels until they passed though a particularly large one with two new tunnel sections leading opposite each other. One was smaller and narrow while the other had a large entrance and a bolted door. “I might as well mention now that we have the time, that if there is ever a purge this is where we go.” she stopped and banged on the side of the bolted door, by the sound of it, the door was made of very thick steel. “It should protect us from the gasses.”
She spoke seriously, and clearly. It was the last purge that had wiped out half of the other rebels before, and the reason that she was leader now. She did not take it lightly.
“Let’s move on...” she continued.

Anna followed in scilence. She wanted to see her brother again. She wanted things to go back to how they were when she was little. She wants to be little again when nothing mattered and her brother could make her happy and smile. Now she was nothing more then a cold blooded killer. Who didn't love anyone but her self. She did what she did for her self. She kept only herself safe. Now she was sapose to trust this girl and her 'family' with her life. Anna didn't like the sound of that. Anna looked around to see the swer around her. It really didn't bother her. Nothing anymore did.
Anna has seen so much in her short life. She had been watching a boy from a far geting to know him but she watched him being murdered in front of her eyes. She just sat there and watched it happen. Anna felt sorrow for the boy. In her eyes he attracted her to him but she didn't know what it ment. She never has been in love. Or any kind of relationship with anyone.

Footsteps echoed along the floor as they continued to walk. Right up until they met another large steel door frame. Lyric knocked on the thing three times before she unholstered a control from her belt and spoke into it. “This is Lyric Rocio - Leader. I found a visitor.” she spoke, fully aware of the presence of the girl behind her. She seemed to be about the same age as her but seemed younger in her wisdom and knowledge, this would have to change and she knew that she’d probably wind up the one to educate her.
After a brief converse, the large steel doors shut opened, allowing them access into the rebel hide-out.

Anna wasn't paying attention and ran into the girl. "Sorry." Anna looked up seeing a giant door. "Why are we here? Don't tell me I have to live here." Anna was use to liveing in house after house. Never the same one twice. Anna wasn't too fon of staying with a group of people. "How many people will we be staying with? And who is the leader or what ever you call them?"
Anna looked around. Nothing but cement and steal all around her. Great she thought

Lyric looked over the large room, and smaller rooms that inhabited it. It had been a sewer once, but now it was a home, and re-named the labyrinth. There were many sections, including attack stations, and work stations for the mechanics, technological and other side of things as well as some more rooms leading into bedrooms of sorts. It wasn’t much but it was a home.
“If you don’t want to live her, you are free to leave anytime you want.” she said airily as she walked towards her own station and rummaged through a drawer until she found a clip board and pen. It was a manuscript, something to keep track of who was living there, but more importantly who was alive, and who was dead. “There are a little under 20 people living here, all of which I am leader of. If you have a bone to pick with anyone, see me.” she said, not looking up as she scrolled through the page of names until she got to the bottom and scribbled the words Annabelle on it. “What was your last name and your area of expertise?”

"Nightshade. Annabella Love Nightshade. When do I meet everyone?" Anna looked around. "And I think I will stay. Better then finding a place to stay everynight." Anna kept looking around. This place wasn't that bad at all. It could be home for her. Maybe she would even not be as cold as she normaly is.

Lyric wrote down her name and looked up at her words. “Good to hear...” she then thought about her next question and who might be best for her to associate herself with. There was James, but Lyric knew that her brother would probably tear her to shreds at first glance. She then thought about the mechanical expert and pyrotechnic, Chris. She knew that he was out chasing after Saskia, but once he was back, he’d probably make a good candidate. “You can mingle with whomever, but it might be an alright idea to stick with me, or wait for our pyro to get back. He’s a nutball but he’s pretty clued in on what goes on here. I can introduce you later on if you want.” she said suggestively.

"That sounds ok to me. And I should warn you any of them double cross me they will wake up with a knife to there neck. Or there will be a fight. Remember what I did to the snipper. That was only one trick of what I can do." Annas eyes look dangerous. "I don't control my anger I let it consume me." Anna wanted to only be honest if the girl made her leave now she under stood.

“Maybe you would get along with my brother after all” Lyric smiled. James was a lot like that. The fact that he was scared her at times. He had nearly killed a few people here already and with the ever growing threat of the government taking full control and killing them all, things were getting desperate. She looked over by the door, he had been the one taking sentry post now. His long dreadlocked hair would have hung loosely if not for the band he wore around his head, his thin face was looking thinner every week that passed with the lack of food - everyone was. “You can introduce yourself of you want to but watch out, he bites.” she smirked.

"I bite back." Amy walked up to him. "Hello." Her voice like ice. She saw him very skinny long dreds. Her black hair hung down around her. Her crystal blue eyes burned into the guys back. " I said hello." Amy wasn't a person who like to be ignored when she talked.

James arched a brow at the newcomer, and then to his sister, who shrugged and walked off. He gave a sigh and knew what she had planned. “James. And I don’t babysit, okay. I don’t know what my sister has told you. I don’t want to put up with any crap from newbies, kay?” he spoke to the point. He was tired of Lyric trying to get him involved with everything. It just wasn’t him.

Anna glaired at him. "I don't need to be babysat. I have taken care of my self for the past 5 years I can take care of myself now. And as for a newbie I have wisdom far beond anyone of my age. Just ask Lyric I took down a sniper with one dagger. And get on my bad side you will have the same thing." Annas crystal blue eyes were cold as ice.

“Is that a threat?” James stood to full height now, all 173cms. His eyes full of venom and his eyes as sharp as knives. His eyes burnt into hers, his hand close to the pistol at his belt.
The eyes of everyone in the room staring at them now, and the room itself seemed to be holding its breath.

"Wanna bring it pretty boy." Anna smirked and staired at him. "I am not afaid of you. I fear nothing." Annas eyes had hate from her life burning in her eyes. And the anger from her past started to take over.

“Tough talk, pip-squeak.” James growled. Who did this chick think she was just barging over and trying to lay lines?
“Hey!” a feminine voice broke in, pushing the two apart. Lyric stood tall in front of the two. “Both of you can get off your high horses right now and shape up or your both sleeping in the Neutral Grounds tonight, got it!” Her voice was low, but not to be denied.
